Doğa Özkan is an exceptionally talented composer and musician born in Kayseri in 2004. Her musical journey began with the Kayseri Municipality Children's Choir, where she gave her first concert at just 7 years old. Since the age of 8, Doğa has been studying the violin while passionately exploring the world of composition. Alongside her violin training, she has honed her skills in crafting captivating melodies and harmonies, showcasing her exceptional talent as a composer. Her dedication to composition has earned her recognition for her piece "Filler ve Şeftaliler" ("Elephants and Peaches"), which premiered at the Texas School of Music in February 2022. Her exceptional work received accolades, including recognition in the National Young Composers Challenge.
